Why Robo8

We don't try to out-black-box the black boxes.

The incumbent AI security platforms are powerful, and opaque, cloud-bound, and priced for the Fortune 500. Robo8 makes the opposite bet: an AI defender you can see inside, run yourself, and afford, layered on top of the tools you already own. That's not a weaker position. For a large and underserved set of teams, it's the only acceptable one.

The three wedges

Glass-box, not black-box

Unsupervised anomaly engines flag "this is weird" but struggle to explain why it matters, and analysts won't trust what they can't audit. Every Robo8 verdict carries its ATT&CK technique, evidence, confidence, and reasoning, and every action is logged.

Sovereign, not someone-else's-cloud

Cloud-only platforms route your telemetry to the vendor. For regulated, sovereign, and air-gapped environments that's a non-starter. Robo8 runs local-first: detection, reasoning, and storage on your own infrastructure.

On top of, not instead of

Incumbents want to be your detection layer and replace what you have. Robo8 is the reasoning-and-action brain that sits on top of your existing stack, keeping your investment and avoiding a rip-and-replace.

Where the incumbents win, and why we don't fight there

We're candid about this. Mature platforms have a decade of data across thousands of environments, huge coverage (network, email, OT, cloud), proven autonomous response at scale, and enterprise trust. We will not beat that on their terms, so we don't compete on "whose anomaly model is smartest at scale."

Instead we change the question: from "are you as good as the big platform?" to "can I see your decisions, keep my data, and afford you?"
